World We Dare to Imagine Part 1

Growing up in the United States I have always been able to see the difference in culture from someone who has lived here for a few generations. The American culture is very individualistic and competitive. As someone who has grown up with immigrant parents, this has always been a heavy contrast to my latino roots that lay in unity, loyalty, and support for family. Naturally I have had a combination of both cultures. I am an extremely competitive capitalist that believes in the pursuit of happiness, but I am also an extremely loyal family person that would rather starve with my people than be fed alone.  After reading Jacqueline Novogratz's, "The Blue Sweater," it made me happy to read about the unified communities around the world. I believe that unity is the true key to enduring difficult circumstances. So this semester I have learned a lot of pretty interesting things about myself and who I want to be after college. Currently I am working for a creative agency called Race Service that specializes in automotive, fashion, and culture projects. When I first got this position, I saw it more as like a stepping stone to something "bigger" like a large company like Red Bull or NVIDIA. However, as I spent more and more time at this very new company and concept the more I realized that this is the place that I need to be. And after thinking about why I felt this way I was able to break it down into three strong reasons why I really like Race Service and why I want to remain there post graduation.  The three reasons are:  - Team Structure  - Level of Impact  - Niche that I have been passionate about since childhood  The first reason why I really like RS is because of the way the company is structured. Book 2, Post 2: Resilient: How to Grow an Unshakeable Core

 After reading more of Dr. Rick Hanson's book,  Resilient: How to Grow an Unshakable Core of Calm, Strength, and Happiness, I learned more about how much power there is behind the conscious mind and thought. I really enjoy reading this type of content as it is always great to improve ones mental strength. Similar to a professor at Stanford, Andrew Huberman, Dr. Rick Hanson uses science and research to back his ideas of mental strength and neuroplasticity which further proves that his claims are correct. Dr. Hanson stresses the importance of having self-compassion, mindfulness, and gratitude on a daily basis to be able to deal with the stresses of daily life. This is something that I find very important as I personally have seen the benefits to having this type of mindset. Book 2 Post 1 : Resilient: How to Grow an Unshakeable Core

As someone that is very interested in mental toughness and resilience I was naturally drawn to this book by Dr. Rick Hanson. This book is a book that gives a step by step to build positive neuroplasticity, something that I have learned about before through the Andrew Huberman podcast. Andrew Huberman, a neuroscience professor at Stanford University also dives deep into this conversation of postiive neuroplasticity as a form of creating a strong foundation for resilience.  The book expresses 12 key inner resources to build an unshakeable core including: Self-worth, Confidence, Determination, Calm, Connection, Contentment, Courage, Compassion, Love, Integrity, Gratitude, and Aspiration. All of these inner resources contribute to creating a very strong sense of self and ability to endure difficult experiences. Random Post: Putting a Racecar on a roof

I have had a pretty good experience at my new job as an intern at Race Service recently. On my first day, I was able to make an edit that was posted on the Race Service social media in collaboration with Mercedes Benz AMG Motorsport with it reaching 230k views. My second day on the job was really when things got cool.     LINK TO VIDEO On my second day working for Race Service I was able to go to Hotel Roosevelt in Hollywood to help set up the production at the penthouse suite. We went up and down the elevators bringing supplies and other things needed for the production and event that is going to be held tomorrow. As I was helping with the all the tasks needed, the Mercedes AMG car that Race Service had been completely rebuilding for this event pulled up in a trailer alongside a gigantic crane right in the middle of Hollywood.
